💚 It is sometimes mistakenly identified as Caribbean Calcite, which usually has a more blue-green color

💚 Forms in sedimentary and metamorphic rocks as well as hydrothermal veins

💚 Often found in association with other minerals such as pyrite and fluorite

💚 It has a rhombohedral crystalline structure

💚 It has a Mohs hardness of 3, making it delicate and more prone to scratches and fractures
